                                          THE PASTOR'S MESSAGE

On behalf of Bruington Baptist Church, let me welcome you to our web site. If this is your first time here, please be assured that many good ministries are occurring for our Lord and Savior by the members of this historic church. After 225 years we are once again looking to the future while treasuring the past. It is our desire to welcome all who are seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ. If you do not know Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, I would love to talk with you about the Lord of Life. If you desire a closer walk with Jesus this church may be where you will discover that closeness you have lost. If you are looking for a place where you can do more ministry with other dedicated Christians, come and try Bruington

.       A TIMELY WORD: "I am the resurrection and the life'"
These wonderful words from from Jesus are the promise that we find fulfilled on Easter, the greatest day of the year. Before Christ came to our world we lived under the fear of death and destruction. Now we have promise of everlasting life. We need not feel death any longer. We can live forever in heaven with our Father and His Son, Jesus.
Easter is the greatest event of all history. However, if you have not received God's Son as your Lord and Savior you do not know the peace that He brings to life. I want to invite you the celebrate Resurrection Sunday in worship of the Lord of Life. Certainly we would welcome you warming at Bruington Baptist Church any Sunday. Most important is that you receive Christ's gift through some church. Open your heart to the Lord and He will guide you daily.
If you have dropped out of worship and the joy of Christ has deminished in your life, the is no better time to renew your commitment to the Lord than Easter. He has not forgotten you. Come home the Christ now.
